This week I wanted to do something different where I can make all kind of designs playing with shapes and a beautiful material to work with such as Royal Icing.

It is so much fun when you start baking some cookies and then play with all different patterns and techniques to make them pretty.

Apples cover with tamarind and jelly worms - fun and healthy snack for kids

This is a fun and healthy recipe, that I learned back in Mexico, this is a fun way to make kids love fruits and make it a little bit more fun.

You have to take a whole apple and just cover it, with tamarind pulp, then add the jelly worms and that´s it!

Tamarind is a fruit that some times becomes sweeter or sour as it matures. It is used in desserts as a Jam, blended into juices or sweetened drinks, sorbets, ice creams and all manner of snacks. In Mexico, it is sold in various snack forms: dried and salted, or candied. In western cuisine it is found also as a sauce.

If you can´t find any tamarind, you can cover the apples with some chocolate or caramel, and  you can also put the apples in some plastic bag, with some ribbon to make it cuter, or give it as a present.

Welcome Arys! - Baby born souvenirs.

These pie boxes (filled with cereal treats), and water bottles, were designed to celebrate 
the birthday of baby Arys.

In Mexico, people have the tradition to give some souvenirs as a present to the people that 
is visiting the baby in his first days of life. It's a nice idea to thank people for all their attentions and good wishes for the baby :)
